We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team, a leading provider of cutting-edge automated machinery solutions. This role combines technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills to deliver tailored solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling automation machinery, developing comprehensive proposals, and building long-term client relationships. This position requires frequent on-site client visits, providing an exciting opportunity to engage directly with customers and understand their unique needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our automated machinery and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through client outreach, networking, and industry research.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess client needs, provide technical support, and present tailored automation solutions.
- Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to create detailed and competitive proposals.
- Manage the entire sales process, from initial client contact through contract negotiation and closing.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and follow-up support.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in selling machinery for automation companies, with a focus on automated systems and equipment.
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex machinery solutions.
- Demonstrated success in developing and delivering detailed proposals and sales strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
- Willingness to travel extensively for on-site visits and client meetings.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
