• Designing of automotive & general industry assembly fixture, tools, end effectors
• Designing special purpose assembly machines and applications
• Designing robot cell layouts
• 3d modelling
• 2d detailing of manufacturing drawings
• Creation of BOM’s
• Able to generate process sequence and function plans automated fixtures would be an advantage
• Able to generate pneumatic schemes and BOM would be an advantage

Role will involve:

• To be the technical point of contact for our clients & customers
• Design presentations and design review meetings
• Liaising with sub-suppliers and internal manufacturing and assembly functions
• Design engineering and concept support for bid proposals
• Experience of concepting and designing assembly fixtures (tools)
• Experience of both automated assembly fixtures and manual operated fixtures  (tools)
• Experience of the following processes: Spotwelding, MIG welding, Bonding, Riveting
