  • We are currently seeking experienced Structural Stress Engineers at various levels including Principal, Senior, and Engineer grade to join our team at Quest Global.
  • As a Structural Stress Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and analysis of aerospace and defense structures, with a specific focus on Marine Seating.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct structural analysis and stress calculations for marine seating systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions that meet customer requirements and project objectives.
  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and other advanced engineering techniques to evaluate structural integrity and performance.
  • Generate detailed technical reports and documentation to communicate analysis results and recommendations.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to support the development and improvement of marine seating systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to structural stress analysis and marine seating.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Structural Stress Engineer, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Strong knowledge of marine seating systems and their structural requirements.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard software tools for structural analysis, such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, or ABAQUS.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards, such as MIL-STD, ASME, or ISO.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex engineering data and make sound recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly.
