As our Additive Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing inspired solutions that address critical business and customer needs, capitalising on additive manufacturing technologies to create a distinctive advantage.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
 

  • Provide engineering support and collaborate to motivate the conversion and optimization of low volume/complex geometry metal components from traditional suppliers to additive
  • Use product development experience, additive know-how, and out-of-the-box thinking to optimize product concepts that exploit the benefits of additive as well as address the limitations
  • Work with the product development team to undertake reverse engineering and design for additive manufacturing tasks to define 3D models and 2D drawings
  • By working with global teams to be entrusted with the management and further development of additive manufacturing processes in cooperation with material development and interdisciplinary departments
  • Analyse experimental results, draft conclusions, create standard procedures, and document all outcomes
     

Experience Required:
 

  • Strong enthusiasm for additive manufacturing/new technologies, established through personal projects or prior work experience
  • Completed higher education in the field of mechanical engineering, physics, or similar
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in working on metal additive manufacturing techniques
  • Experience with mainstream 3D design software (AM design software) will be beneficial
  • Knowledge of turbo machinery design and operation is considered advantageous
  • Theoretical and practical skills in product design and project management
  • Relevant professional experience in an industrial environment.
  • Innovative, communicative, and reliable
  • Occasionally willing to travel worldwide
  • Team player with remarkable social and communication skills
