About the position:

We are currently working with a system integrator who deliver quality control systems for companies within the pharmaceutical, chemicals and cosmetic industries. The company focus on high quality automation systems that are well engineered, easy to use, reliable and simple to maintain. They have in-house design and manufacturing capabilities, allied with almost two decades of experience developing and delivering high-performance high-reliability automation solutions for the demanding pharmaceutical and chemical sectors.

Job Responsibilities:

• The role would involve producing a selection of the following documentation within a project.
• Schematic diagrams of both Electrical and Control.
• General arrangement drawings of both Control panels and Switchboards.
• Heat dissipation calculation reports.
• Short Circuit calculation.
• Use Electrical Modelling software such as E-tap.
• Use either AutoCAD or E-plan to produce Schematic drawings. 

Experience Required:

• Must have knowledge of PLC Hardware and have worked on control panel design previously.
• Must have good working knowledge of Eplan, or as a bare minimum of Autocad Electrical or similar.
• Must be able to read electrical drawings for control panels.
• Must be able / willing to go to site to commissioning jobs once they are completed.
• Must be able to work within our ISO9001 quality system and follow procedures.
• Good people skills, both verbally and written.
• Good communication skills.
• Good organisational and planning skills.
• Ideally will be experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Quality Management (ISO9001).
• Full UK driving licence.
