Graduate Mechnical Engineer

My client is currently seeking a highly capable and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving innovation and maintaining their commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining equipment on-site for diverse production and development purposes.
- Assisting in the assembly and installation of new equipment, encompassing mechanical and electrical components. Installation projects may require travel to customer locations worldwide.
- Conducting plumbing tasks involving steel and plastic pipe, with training provided for specialized techniques like Swagelok.
- This is primarily a production post but involvement in most areas of company activity is foreseen.
Qualifications:
- This is an Entry level position.
- Scientific education to ‘A’ level or equivalent essential.
- Further scientific or engineering qualification desirable.
- A mechanical or process engineering background and/or experience of working in an electrical engineering, high-tech coatings or vacuum industry is preferable.
- Knowledge of CAD (Solidworks and/or Autocad),
- Having prior involvement in either the high-tech or vacuum industry would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with quality management methodologies and/or ISO9001 compliance up to UKAS standards.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ISO, ASME, or ASTM, is beneficial.
