About this position:

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join as a Project Manager in a world leading automotive company who are always striving to ensure their products are one of the best in the world.

As their New Model platforms continue to expand, they are seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for delivering a project’s outputs to the agreed project success criteria, including on-time delivery, with all deliverables fulfilled to the expected level of quality and within the agreed budget constraints.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the project coordinator, to plan and schedule project tasks and required resource 
• Clearly communicating the scope of work expected to be delivered by project team members, within their agreed work packages 
• Keeping project team members motivated to meet the deliverables of their respective work packages 
• Chairing project meetings 
• Maintaining a close relationship with the project sponsor, to ensure the objectives of the project business case are fulfilled 

Experience Required:

• Experience in management of individuals, either direct line management or indirect through project stakeholder management
• Competent IT user including Microsoft Office applications e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and advanced Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling tool
• Experience of using and championing project management methodologies. Strong track record of organising and co-ordinating a range of activities with varying deadlines
• Proven experience of achieving results in a team environment and managing colleague’s expectations.  Experience working as part of project delivery teams
• A strong facilitator with the ability to engage individuals and groups in workshops and meetings.
