Our Engineering partner are looking for a Metal Applications Engineer to join their operations team with the day-to-day work on their Metals Applications for their customers. This is an award-winning business who are only in their third year of since opening its doors to its brand new facility.

This is great opportunity for either someone in a general CAD based role who is still keen to stay within Design but learn about Additive Manufacturing or a keen Additive Applications Engineer who already has that passion for AM.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of customer data for printing. This may include minor/major fixing and post processing considerations
• Setting up of builds to a strict schedule using relevant 3D printing software, ensuring lead-times are competitive and vigorously met
• Support the sales team with technical enquiries
• Production and management of standard Metal materials for use in AM machines
• Make recommendations for improvements on equipment and processes
