My client is a leading global supplier of automotive components and systems, including interior and exterior trim. Their portfolio spans across automotive components and systems, including instrument panels, console systems, door panels, headliners and overhead systems to automakers around the world. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all customer quality and engineering issues, providing pro-active support and response
• Understand customer requirements/expectations in detail communicating with the internal team ensuring the requirement is fully understood
• Main focal point to the customer/internal/supplier for all quality and engineering issues during the program life, from initiation to End of Life
• Project manage product quality/engineering requirements through ISIR, capability studies, AAR, etc in support of NPI, APQP & PPAP

Experience Required:

• Proven experience in Quality Engineering in Automotive 1st Tier
• Degree, HND, HNC, IQA or equivalent
• Previous plastics and overhead systems experience preferred
• Significant exposure to Bentley & BMW systems including VDA
• Experience of customer and automotive industry systems and procedures including
• IATF16949, ISO9001, APQP, PPAP etc
