About this position: 

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to work for a leading global supplier of automotive interior components and systems based in Birmingham.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working on a number of Manufacturing projects on a contract basis

Experience Required:

• Degree qualified in mechanical or manufacturing engineering
• Knowledge of headliner manufacturing and assembly
• Exposure to manufacturing lines highly reliant on IT systems
• Significant experience in a relevant role within a 1st tier automotive supplier, preferably within a just in time environment
• Experience of Six sigma / Lean manufacturing processes
• Computer literate with MS Project
• Auto CAD advantageous
