About this position: 

The company design’s and build’s machinery used for the manufacturing of aerosol spray products. The work is project based, each machine or production line is designed in house to match the customer specification and built in our workshop. The machines are generally pneumatically operated by solenoid valves with PLC control.

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete machine build
• Production line build

Experience Required:

• We require someone with excellent mechanical engineering skills: hand tools, drilling, tapping, high standard of fitting
• Basic turning / milling / welding would be very useful
• You need to demonstrate problem solving skills and good communication skills
• You must self-check your work to discover problems at every opportunity. A critical eye for such issues is important
• Knowledge of pneumatics and PLC control systems would be an advantage but working to develop these skills is fine
• You will be required to travel as part of a team to install machines in the UK and Europe and sometimes further
