About this position: 

We are looking for a multi-skilled contract Electrical & Electronics Systems Engineer to join a global Manufacturer in Consumer products.

This contract will include managing projects for the development of electrical and electronic systems from concept to deployment, ensuring that the project follows appropriate processes, meets the required specifications, and is delivered within agreed cost and time constraints.

Based in Basingstoke. Hybrid working – You will be required to be onsite a minimum of 3 days a week. Inside IR35. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing both the technical and project delivery from external partners to ensure that they follow the appropriate development process, and their designs meet the required specification
• Design, develop, and verify electrical and electronics systems
• Creating and maintaining the design and manufacturing specifications of new and existing electrical and electronics systems and sub-systems
• Managing the documentation of all designs and related data through the Equipment Development (EDP) and Engineering Change (ECN) processes

Experience Required:

• Proven experience with the design of electrical and electronics systems, including analogue, power and digital systems
• In depth knowledge of application of theory to real world applications
• Proven experience with the Design for Assembly and Design for Manufacturing
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic CAD tools for circuit schematic and PCBA layout
• Experience working with Asian OEM’s and ODMs is a plus
