About this position: 

We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical & Electronics Systems Engineer to join a global manufacturer in consumer products. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Designing Electrical & Electronic Systems for consumer products
• Working on existing product line to improve and enhance

Experience Required:

• Ideally, honours degree in electronics / electrical or related engineering subject
• Ideally, member of IET and Engineering Council
• Experience to interpret Marketing briefs and/or customer and consumer needs and incorporate them into designs
• Experience defining and managing projects using standard project management tools
• Experience applying business processes for equipment development
• Experience managing multidisciplinary system projects
• Skills and experience creating detailed project plans and project documentation
• Proven experience with the design of electrical and electronics systems, including analogue, power and digital systems
• In depth knowledge of application of theory to real world applications
• Solid understanding of control theory, software and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards and their application for the countries we design and commercialize products
• Proven experience with the Design for Assembly and Design for Manufacturing
• Understanding the requirements for building prototypes
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic CAD tools for circuit schematic and PCBA layout
• Experience in specifying and using laboratory test equipment
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with external partners
• Experience working with Asian OEM’s and ODMs is a plus
• Competent in the use of tools to critique a design to ensure fit for purpose
• Understanding of system design testing requirements
