About this position: 

We currently have an opportunity for a Mouldshop Technician to join a world class supplier of injection moulded components and systems, predominantly for the prestige automotive sector.

Job Responsibilities:

Implement machine start-ups, achieving targeted cycle times and specified quality as quickly as possible, and following strict first off procedure
Implement machine shutdown and last-off procedures with maximum efficiency
Carry out machine set-up, purging and repair / remedial duties
Maximise efficiency through set-up of ancillary equipment, including conveyors, robots, printing equipment
Achieve best possible processing performance
Collaborate with Team Leaders and Quality colleagues to achieve customer quality standards
Liaise with Production teams over process actions taken, and advise on diagnostic signs and prevention
Complete effective shift handover following 5S, scrap, tools and equipment

Experience Required:

Ideally you will be an experienced injection mould setter with experience in injection moulding
Experience of any of the following equipment would be advantageous – Engel (Victory & Duo) Demag NC4, ABB six axis robots, Kuka Six axis robot, Wittman robots
Experience using the following material would also be advantageous – PC, ABS, PC/ABS, PA6, PA6,6 PA12, POM, PMMA, PP, materials filled with glass fibre, Carbon fibre, Talc and flame-retardant grades
