Main Function of the role:
- The main function of the role is to manage contracts for Electrical Power and Distribution Transformers and associated equipment from initial handover from Sales to contract completion and end of warranty.
Main duties:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Developing and presenting project proposals
- Meeting with clients to establish their requirements
- Producing project plans and timescales
- Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts when necessary
- Agreeing budgets and timescales for contract variations with the clients
- Managing production schedules and budgets
- Dealing with any unexpected costs
- Attending site meetings to monitor progress
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers
- Working with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities
- Making sure production projects meet agreed technical standards
- Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and the client’s own representatives
- Overseeing invoicing throughout a project
- Working on-site and in an office as required
- Production of contract documentation from customer specifications
- Attending meetings, both in house and external
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction. Working to deadlines in a professional manner
- Carry out any reasonable ad hoc duties requested by your direct Line Manager or the Management Team
- Promote teamwork and co-operation at all times, both within individual depots and right across the entire group
- Safeguard all Company assets
- Treat all other employees and all our customers professionally and with respect
- Always work in a responsible manner to ensure safe working practices

Requirements:
Qualifications/Skills required for the role:
- A basic understanding of the construction industry
- A basic understanding of legal documentation
- Relevant Maths and IT knowledge
- Self-starter and team player
- Good verbal communication skills
- Degree or Tertiary Qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Ability to read Engineering Drawings (Solid works & AutoCAD).
