My client is recruiting for a  Project Engineer that will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to manage and lead a range of contracts on behalf their business.  
Their core business is the supply of robotic automated assembly systems to the automotive sector alongside bespoke niche assembly tooling solutions for the lower volume high vehicle manufacturers. The role will involve overseeing the contracts from inception, through design, manufacture, and final install & commission at their customer sites. You will be responsible for managing the contract budgets, program timing, customer interface and dealing with internal resources.

Key skills will include:

• ONC, HNC or higher in mechanical engineering and/or production engineering and/or automation engineering would be advantageous.
• Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings (mechanical)
• Competent numeracy with an understand of business finance.
• Project Management
• Basic computer skills
• Previous experience in engineering or manufacturing would be an advantage but not a prerequisite.
• Previous experience in a project management or project engineering role would be beneficial.
• Being able to operate CAD would be advantageous though not necessary.
