Job Description: Machine Tool Retrofit Engineer Location: Gavà

We are looking for a new teammate to join us as Support Engineer to join our team in Gavà. You will collaborate with our engineering department to support our customers, assisting them in their needs within the Machine Tool field.

Main tasks (not exhaustive):

Installation of machine tool probes at the client’s site.
Technical training for clients.
Technical support and assistance to clients.
Development of applications and execution of software demonstrations.
Management of technical support cases and corresponding reporting in CRM.

Education:

Preferably Technical or Higher Engineering (preferably in Mechanics or Electronics).
Valuable CFGS in Mechatronics, Mechanics, or Electronics.
Specific training in the field is valued.

Other requirements:

Person with excellent ability to work autonomously, accustomed to solving complex problems, and with a clear results-oriented approach.
Customer-oriented.
Proactivity, rigor, and attention to detail.
Person accustomed to working in changing environments, flexible, and capable of maintaining a good working atmosphere and a collaborative environment.
Experience in installing machine tool probes.
Knowledge of handling and programming Fanuc, Heidenhain, and Siemens controls. Knowledge of PLC programming and machine parameters will be valued.
Spanish as the first language, fluent English (spoken and written).
Desirable good level of Portuguese.
Availability to travel frequently (Spain and Portugal) and occasionally to the UK.

Full working day: Monday to Thursday from 7:45 am to 4:45 pm (30 min for lunch); Friday from 7:45 am to 1:45 pm.
