The ideal candidate would:

• Be a time served apprentice trained in both manual Milling and Turning.
• Have experience as a high-end Programmer Setter Operator (must be able to programme on the machine, you will be tested at interview stage).
• Experience of working with machines such as: Mazak 350, Mazak 250 with Mazatrol. It would be advantageous if you can programme and operate an Integrex J-200s.
• Machining exotic materials such as Inconel 718,  17/4ph Stainless Steel Ally Bronze etc.

 Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner.
• Working to a high degree of accuracy and quality.
• Able to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• Able to use measuring instruments – micrometers, verniers etc.
• Problem solving skills.
• Working under own initiative and working on dual machines.
• A keen eye for detail.
