About this position

We are currently working with a company who provide premium residential and commercial building electrical control system design, installation and management services. We are one of the UK’s top Electrical Control Panel Manufacturer and Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) experts, too.

Job Responsibilities:

• The role is to design and development hardware systems mainly using proprietary hardware components for control panels and primarily focused on BMS, HVAC, PLC’s, MCCs, Drives & Controls, and Switchgear.
• Preparing, reviewing and checking necessary calculations and design.
• The work may involve limited travel with the possibility of some periods away at customer sites carrying out surveys and designing solutions.

Experience Required:

• HVAC / PLC Controls with speciality in Trend BMS / PLC systems, be conversant with writing software using SET etc. TCP/IP – BACNET / modbus communications.
• Experience of Trend / Honeywell software etc.
• Trend Head End setting up of IQ Vision / Niagara platform experience.
• Experience of PLC controls, control panel design and network communication knowledge of current standards ie ethernet/IP, modbus RTU, profibus will be considered.
• Communications networking experience.
• Must be able to use control panel drawing package EPlan P8 with Pro Panel & Process wire modules.
