This role sits within the Engineering team with a focus on the development of new products and continuous improvement of the existing product portfolio. Responsibility is for developing electrical and electronic systems in collaboration with the business teams.

The key responsibilities:

• Electronic development of systems based on:
• Digital and micro-controller systems
• Analogue sensors and low power design
• Switching and mains voltage
• Cabling and routing of signal and power
• PCB layout and schematic capture
• Testing and qualification for CE/UKCA or other requirements
• Testing and validation for performance over life
• 2nd line manufacturing support

The successful candidate:

• You should have proven capability in electrical and electronic design and working to project plans and project life cycle in addition to the validation and qualification of products for EMC and safety.
• Experienced in product development and manufacturing environments and in working in a small team to tight deadlines.  Familiarity with  mechanical, electrical and software systems and products is also essential.
• You should be qualified to a Bachelor’s degree level in a related technical/engineering subject.
