About this position: 

This is a business that is relied on by companies in the bakery, biscuit, confectionary, snack, and breakfast cereal sectors. They supply specialist machinery to large scale companies within the mentioned sectors. They are currently seeking a Buyer to join the team

Job Responsibilities:

• Procuring raw materials and components
• Help reduce costs
• Improve the service that they provide to customers and internally
• Support the purchasing manager

Experience Required:

• A good understanding of the purchasing lifecycle for castings and other raw materials
• CIPS qualification preferred, but not essential
• Knowledge and worked with manufacturing MRP/ERP System
• Flexibility to travel within the UK.
