About this position: 

An exciting opportunity to work mainly in the automotive industry with customers including BMW, JLR and Nissan, producing a range of vehicle conveyor and assembly products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design products using CAD software (Inventor and AutoCAD)
• Research, design, evaluate, consult with engineering and manufacturing teammates to ensure that designs are feasible
• Implement customers brief and attend site meetings as required
• Consult with suppliers exploring the merits and cost of products
• Keep all engineering files up to date i.e., change notes, modifications
• Raise paperwork to procure BOM and Internal Transmittals
• Supervise and support onsite when required

Experience Required:

• Previous Mechanical Design Experience within Special Purpose Machinery or Conveyors
• Experience designing with Inventor or AutoCAD
• Experience within the Automotive sector would be beneficial
• A degree or Apprenticeship with Mechanical Engineering
